In 1914, Sir Ernest Shackleton led the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The ill-fated voyage captured the attention of the world, and has continued to inspire people for well over a century. The adversity Shackleton and his crew faced on this expedition was one of the greatest stories of survival, ever.

In securing the rescue and safety of his men, Shackleton embodied some remarkable values: he was dependable, fair, courageous, caring and respectful. The same spirit and values that carried Sir Ernest and his crew are the values around which we’re building our company; for us, they are more than just words, they are behaviours ingrained in our very character.
