Our founders

Shackleton – Britain’s financial adviser

We’re building Britain’s Financial Adviser, because there is a need to rebuild trust in financial planning in our country. We believe there is a huge unmet need right across the United Kingdom for trustworthy, transparent, affordable financial advice, delivered by advisers who work for their clients, not for themselves.

In doing this, we must be courageous in our endeavour. Courageous in our convictions to break the mould. To build Shackleton, 21 of the best financial advice firms from across the country unified on a common purpose, to create financial freedom for the people of Britain.

Our values, at Shackleton

As Britain’s financial adviser, five core values sit at the heart of everything we do.

We believe they are timeless, yet they’re lacking from much of the financial advice sector. They underline our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service to all our clients. We believe in our values, and our entire team from the Founders to our advisers, embodies them in everything we do. To personify this, we chose a namesake that reflected those values, Sir Ernest Shackleton.
