Adam Marchant

I worked in financial services from around 2011 to 2017, beginning my career at Legal & General. During this time, I held a variety of roles ranging from administrative positions through to financial analyst roles. While there, I studied to become a financial adviser, completing my Level 4 Diploma alongside mortgage and equity advice examinations.

I then spent approximately six years travelling throughout Southeast Asia and living overseas, including two years in Australia and two and a half years in New Zealand during the Covid period, working in a range of finance and sales roles.

On returning to the UK, I spent three years developing a detailed understanding of the advice process and achieved Competent Adviser Status (CAS). My particular areas of interest and specialism are trust and inheritance tax planning, which I find especially engaging.

Outside of work, I’m an avid runner and completed the London Marathon last year, with plans to run the Brighton and Berlin Marathons in 2026. I also enjoy going to the gym and spending time walking my fox red Labrador, Barley.
