Alena Zavarin

I am a Chartered Financial Planner, and I am very proud to be one. To me, this is more than a job – I build relationships that last. My goal is to enable my clients do what’s right for them, now and in the future, whatever it looks like.

My interest in financial advice started over 10 years ago, when I got an admin job on an investment review project. I was fascinated by the world of financial advice, and decided I wanted to learn more. I started as a trainee paraplanner, and spent the next 4 years working and studying. I became an adviser in 2020, and I never looked back – I love working with people and using my knowledge and experience to solve real-life problems.

I work in most major areas of financial planning – investments, retirement, protection, estate and long-term care planning. Throughout my career, I worked with individuals, businesses, and charities. My personal interest lies in Sustainable Finance – in 2022, Professional Adviser named me a Woman of the Year in ESG advice, and in 2023 I finished my Masters in Finance, with Sustainable Advice being the subject of my dissertation.

I am also very passionate about financial education and awareness. In the last few years, I supported multiple communities and charities. My involvement with Female Veteran Association has earned me a place in the Citywire Top 35 Next Generation Advisers 24/25.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading – Stephen King being my number one! I have family and friends around the globe, so I often travel to see them, or to explore new places.
