Andrew Fisher

London

Meet Andrew

Andrew Fisher was appointed Chairman of the ultimate holding company of the business that is now Shackleton on 9 March 2021. His appointment coincided with a substantial investment in the firm by Sovereign Capital Partners, which was followed more recently by the majority investment by Lee Equity Partners. Since joining, Andrew has played a key role in guiding Shackleton through rapid organic and acquisitive expansion, with the business completing multiple acquisitions and rebranding to Shackleton in December 2024 to unite its founding firms under a single name and approach. Under his chairmanship, the firm has cemented its position as a nationwide provider of trusted financial advice.

Andrew’s career started in marketing with Unilever, before he joined Coopers & Lybrand as a Partner in the strategy consulting practice. From there he moved to Standard Chartered Bank, working in Hong Kong as Commercial Director. He has held several senior executive positions, including approximately a decade as CEO of Towry plc, which became Evelyn Partners. Prior to this, Andrew was CEO of Cox Insurance plc and Coutts & Co. He has also served as a Director of C. Hoare & Co and Smith & Williamson Wealth Management plc. Andrew is a founder and ongoing supporter of the CHASM initiative at Birmingham University and Finance Governor of Sandhurst School, part of the Corvus Academy Trust.
