George Claverton

I have been working in the financial services industry since 2021, following a career change from the British Army, which included officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

With a background in personal taxation, including the management of a trusts department, I transitioned into financial planning with a move to a firm of independent financial advisers before joining Robson Lister (now Shackleton) in 2024.

I offer holistic financial planning, including advice on pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning and protection. I believe that developing long-term relationships with my clients through tailored advice is the key to helping individuals and their families achieve financial success.

I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
