Reviews and Ratings for Financial adviser Stuart Terry, Brighton

Meet Stuart

I have dedicated the majority of my career to financial services, beginning my journey at Quilter PLC (formerly Old Mutual Wealth). There, I worked closely with financial advisers before deciding to switch sides and studied to become a financial adviser in my own time.

What I enjoy most about my role is building strong relationships with clients, understanding what truly drives them so I can gain a clear picture of their circumstances and goals, whatever stage of life they are in. This allows me to provide recommendations that are both tailored and practical, setting a strong foundation for a long-term partnership.

I provide holistic financial planning across a wide range of areas, including retirement planning, savings and investments, cashflow modelling, insurance/protection and tax + estate planning. While I have a deep technical understanding of financial planning, I believe in turning complex ideas into clear, straightforward guidance, empowering my clients to make well-informed decisions.

Outside of work, I take a keen interest in reading up on history, particularly World War II, as well as the classics of Ancient Rome and Greece. I also enjoy cooking, playing golf, trail biking, and exploring the outdoors. And for my sins…I am a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

I have been a client of Shackleton financial advisers (formerly Skerrits) for about 15 years. Stuart is the latest of a series of very professional IFAs who have provided me with sound financial planning advice over this period. Initially, I needed help to consolidate my retirement portfolio. This was put in place before I retired in 2018. My investments have been successfully managed ever since.
